[00:00:20] Welcome to Mini Meditations. I'm Jennifer James, co host of the Common Mystics podcast.
[00:00:27] Today's full moon meditation can help you feel your oneness with the rhythms of the natural world and prepare your energy for new phases to come in your life.
[00:00:42] The full moon symbolizes completion as well as release of anything which no longer serves you on your life path.
[00:00:56] This full moon meditation can be an incredibly powerful and transformative experience, especially when you're tuned in to the energy of the night.
[00:01:10] If you can do this meditation outside at night, during the full moon, in the radiant glow of the moon's light.
[00:01:21] If being outside isn't possible, you may wish to position yourself near a window facing the full moon.
[00:01:29] Turn off the lights and sit or lie down in the space that is illuminated by moonlight.
[00:01:36] But if you're doing this meditation away from the light of the moon, that's okay too. You can conjure the energy of the full moon through visualization.
[00:01:47] Let's take a moment to reflect on the guiding questions of today's meditative exercise.
[00:01:56] Ask yourself, what is it that I need to release?
[00:02:04] How can I align more deeply with my true self and purpose?
[00:02:17] Now, let's begin.
[00:02:21] Wherever you are, settle into a position that feels comfortable and natural, whether sitting or lying down.
[00:02:31] And gently close your eyes or soften your gaze.
[00:02:38] See yourself in a peaceful spot under the silvery beams of the moon.
[00:02:48] Feel the night air brush against your skin as the soothing sounds of the evening wrap around you, creating a tranquil, magical ambiance.
[00:03:04] Take a moment in this peace, peaceful space.
[00:03:08] Take in the sights, sounds, smells and feelings as they come to you.
[00:03:24] Breathe deeply. Inhale through your nose, filling your lungs. Hold for a moment, then exhale slowly through your mouth, letting the tension melt away.
[00:03:40] Continue breathing in this way, inhaling through your nose.
[00:03:46] Hold out through your mouth, and as you continue, notice the rhythm of your breath.
[00:03:59] It connects you to the rhythms of the natural world.
[00:04:05] With every breath, feel yourself grounding, centering and softening into this sacred moment.
[00:04:22] Now imagine the energy of the four elements surrounding you, each bringing its unique power.
[00:04:34] Feel the earth beneath you.
[00:04:38] Picture roots extending from your body deep into the earth, anchoring you and connecting you to her timeless wisdom.
[00:04:51] Earth is your foundation, offering stability, transformation.
[00:05:02] Visualize a gentle stream of water flowing around you, washing away your doubt and any negativity.
[00:05:17] Water whispers intuition and emotional clarity, helping you flow with the rhythm of life.
[00:05:33] See a warm flame of fire now glowing within your heart.
[00:05:43] This is your passion, your courage, your drive to embrace bold changes.
[00:05:55] Let this flame burn brightly.
[00:06:06] Now feel the cool breeze of the air gently kiss your skin.
[00:06:14] Breathe deeply, letting fresh energy fill your lungs.
[00:06:22] Air stirs inspiration, mental clarity and fresh beginnings as you connect with these elements. Invite their energies to flow through you.
[00:06:43] See them swirling together, Earth grounding your foundation, water soothing your spirit, fire igniting your passions, and air filling your mind with clarity.
[00:07:01] Let their power anchor you in the present moment as they awaken your inner strength.
[00:07:17] Call now upon these energies for their guidance.
[00:07:22] Keep your heart and mind open as you seek their wisdom.
[00:07:29] Bring to mind why you are seeking clarity today.
[00:07:35] What do you need to let go of?
[00:07:39] How can you align more deeply with your true self and purpose?
[00:07:51] Be still and trust the answers that come.
[00:07:56] They may arrive as feelings, images, words, or a quiet knowing.
[00:08:06] Whatever form they take, welcome them with gratitude.
[00:08:38] As you breathe, recognize this moment of deep transformation, an opportunity to release what no longer serves you and make a space for new beginnings.
[00:08:54] Visualize the moon's light pouring over you, illuminating your path and filling you with clarity and strength.
[00:09:05] Feel its energy supporting your intentions, guiding you towards the changes you're ready to embrace now. Say to yourself aloud or in your mind, I welcome change.
[00:09:27] I embrace new beginnings.
[00:09:34] I trust the journey ahead.
[00:09:43] Take one final deep breath, feeling gratitude for this moment of connection and insight. Knowing the energy of the natural world will guide you.
[00:09:59] Shift your focus now to your body and your surroundings. Gently wiggle your fingers and your toes. Move your hands and feet, and when you're ready, open your eyes.
